If unsolicited submissions -- and I've always followed submission guidelines and never bugged agents who said they weren't interested in queries, etc. -- are junk mail, I'm guilty of spamming lots of people.

I understand things happen and people are busy, but what I can't stand is rudeness. Rude people are rarely successful since nobody likes them.
