I'd like to see more women, and Jewish characters, and Kate in sensible shoes. And yet.... I love the show! Mal Castle himself is charming, the characters are well-written, and the relationships between them are all positive and functional without losing realism. Not one false note there (Castle's daughter and mother are particularly good).
