By its very subject matter, it's a very different book from Bloom and Perfect You (alas, I haven't gotten my hands on Stealing Heaven yet, so I can't compare.) It's very raw and very strong, and doesn't shy away from its very painful subject material.
It's one of those books you devour in a single gulp because you can'y stop reading.
