see, I read "into the woods" & it made me so angry I swore I would NEVER EVER read anything by her again
I'll admit it was totally engrossing & I couldn't stop reading, but to get to the end & have the current mystery solved, but NOTHING AT ALL about the past one?
I felt used & cheated & ripped off! how DARE she draw me in & get me all invested & then not tell me anything?? I read ITW more than a year ago, & I'm still actively angry just THINKING about it.
it's even worse that she's a good writer, its like she tricked me. obviously, though, ymmv. :)
