Huh. Guess I'm in the minority. I have met an agent at a pitch session with the sole intention of finding out what made him tick. I knew his agency, the authors, his awards and designations. I've worked with deebs - not in sff, but elsewhere. Nothing is going to make me go there again.

But then again, I did end up pitching, so hey... *shrug*
