TV Show Meme! Day 9!
Jun. 24th, 2010 10:22 pmDay 09 - Best scene ever
I don't think I can do this! I mean, "Best scene ever" -- how is that even something that anyone can possibly figure out?
I will say that I have a special place in my heart for the scene from the third season of The Office in which Dwight gets a fax from himself from the future. At some point I want to talk about my epic love for Dwight and how it's the only thing that keeps me watching The Office (and is, in fact, why I kept watching The Office in the first place, even though Jim is totally creepy and Pam is annoying, and together they are that smug, superior couple I hate).
Actually, I will talk about it right now. Dwight can be a real jerk. If I knew him in real life, I would never want to speak to him. (I do, in fact, know people who are similar to him in real life, and. Yeah, I don't ever want to speak to them!) However, Dwight is also the person who genuinely believes in superheroes -- and that he could be getting faxes from himself from the future. I love that. He is real in a way that some of the other characters on that show aren't, and I appreciate that about him.
( Under the cut is an embedded video of the scene I am talking about. )
